What emerged was a wildly imaginative piece titled, \u003ci\u003eWho Is Afraid of a Hot Glass Cat Named Desire?\u003c\/i\u003e, a work that expanded them as artists, and brought them even closer together. They are excited to offer the first \u003ci\u003eFind Your Clown\u003c\/i\u003e workshop of what will be an on-going series!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eKelsey Siepser\u003c\/b\u003e is a multi-hyphenate artist fascinated by how we grow, change, and occasionally fall flat on our face. A committed MakeBeliever, their clown training fuels the original work they make and their belief that failure is one of our most generous teachers. Kelsey developed and taught a clown class for NYFA’s BFA program and teaches at Emerson College LA. They’ve created performance work at Galapagos Art Space, The Bushwick Starr, and with Son of Semele and Superhero Clubhouse. Kelsey holds an MFA from USC. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eIvana Karapandzic\u003c\/b\u003e has long been captivated by the art of clown—ever since her very first day (20 years ago) at The Actor's Center in NYC in clown class, which ended in tears. What felt like rock-bottom failure revealed itself as the heart of the work: the courage to rise, to risk, and to offer oneself, fully and without defense, again and again and again.
