This workshop will be held in the Ojai Valley. Exact location will be revealed at least one week prior to the class.

Description:
Creative expression is a core need for our well-being—on par with clean air, human connection, and quality sleep. Without creative expression, our emotional and mental health suffers. This workshop seeks to help you discover and connect with your authentic creative voice. Whether you're interested in starting a journaling practice, writing your memoir, developing a script for screen or stage, embarking on a novel, or if you just want to connect with your inner voice in a more gentle and compelling way—we'll discuss and dive into all the major components of storytelling and writing as "soul medicine."


What to Bring:
  • Laptop
  • Tablet, phone, journal or notebook (whatever you like to take notes with).

About the Instructor: 
Gregg Stewart is a multidisciplinary creative force—author, musician, screenwriter, workshop facilitator, and creative consultant—known for igniting bold artistic expression across multiple mediums. His book Let It Out reached #7 on Amazon’s Creativity Best Sellers list, and his recent TEDx Talk was an Editor’s Pick.

A published author and award-winning songwriter, Gregg has released over 100 songs, scored and placed music in 20+ films and television shows, and toured internationally. His dark fiction stories appear in leading horror and fantasy anthologies, and his novella Kim Reaper (Graveside Press, May 2025) is the first in a teen supernatural horror trilogy—with graphic novel and limited series adaptations in development.

His latest screenplay, Melodia—co-written with actor, writer, and director Renee Faia—is in development with director/producer Richard Gray (Yellowstone Ranch Studios, Ponderosa Films). Gregg’s near-future dystopian time-travel story, The Isochron Treatment, premieres as a six-episode podcast in early 2026 with Crystal Lake Publishing launching ebooks and paperbacks.
